You don’t need any special reason why you need to visit a beautiful place. We will give you some reasons why you need to visit Costa Rica. If you ask me, one of the most beautiful natures is hidden in Costa Rica.
Everything you will see there represents a special piece of the whole mosaic. This journey will make you pack your bags. You’ve heard this before and I will say it again.
Pack your bags! I mean it. You won’t want to leave Costa Rica as soon as you touch its ground.
Let’s see why your next destination is Costa Rica
1. The People
You will definitely fall in love in the Costa Ricans. Their friendliness and warm hospitality will make you feel like home. Their love for the tourists is driven by their pure life motto.
2. Celebrations and Traditions
These people are just amazing. They can’t wait something to happen to celebrate. They have their own traditions that lead to having fun. It’s all about cheering, laughing and loving. Dance-oriented genres, such as soca, salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia and Costa Rican swing are enjoyed increasingly by older rather than younger people. The guitar is popular, especially as an accompaniment to folk dances; however, the marimba was made the national instrument.

4. The Towns
You have to visit as much towns as you can. My favorite is Puerto Viejo Limon Costa Rica
5. The Food
The food is something special. Once you try something from their cuisine, you will want to eat everything. Costa Rican cuisine is a blend of Native American, Spanish, African and many other cuisine origins. Dishes such as the very traditional tamale and many others made of corn are the most representative of its indigenous inhabitants, and similar to other neighboring Mesoamerican countries.
Spaniards brought many new ingredients to the country from other lands, especially spices and domestic animals. And later in the 19th century, the African flavor lent its presence with influence from other Caribbean mixed flavors. This is how Costa Rican cuisine today is very varied, with every new ethnic group who had recently become part of the country’s population influencing the country’s cuisine.
Costa Rican cuisine is known for being fairly mild, with high reliance on fresh fruits and vegetables. Rice and black beans are a staple of most traditional Costa Rican meals, often served three times a day. Costa Rican fare is nutritionally well rounded, and nearly always cooked from scratch from fresh ingredients. Traditional meals have a home-cooked, comforting feel to them. Due to the tropical location of the country, there are many exotic fruits and vegetables readily available and included in the local cuisine.
6. Amazing Nature and Animals
Costa Rica is a vibrant country full of incredible natural beauty where you can discover waterfalls, jungles, volcanoes, beautiful beaches and wildlife.
From pristine cloud forests, remote beaches, exotic wildlife and giant volcanoes — Cost Rica is extremely diverse, with a little bit of everything for the adventurous traveler or photographer.
Costa Rica is a biodiversity hotspot, you are sure to see some of the most fascinating plants and animals found on Earth. There are over 500,000 varieties of species that consider Costa Rica their home. Conservationists are drawn to this wonderful country to protect and learn about the different wildlife, and how humanity can benefit from them.
Currently, Costa Rica has recorded almost 900 different bird species. This number includes about 600 permanent bird residents of the country, and about 200 immigrant birds that fly down from North America. These birds come in different colors and sizes ranging from the elusive Scintilant Hummingbird to the large Jabiru or American White Pelican.
About 70 lizards and 120 snakes are a part of the 225 reptiles inhabit Costa Rica. These reptiles vary in size, shape, and danger.
Costa Rican Marine Life is another feat to enjoy. Sea life has always brought the unique brand of life, and Costa Rica houses some of the favorite marine mammals and fish.
